Above Stockholm

I´m grateful for all of the experiences this path, photography, has led me to. I have had the opportunity to travel the world, seeing different cultures and meeting inspiring people from all around the globe. These experiences and crossings mean everything to me, But sometimes you don’t have to travel far to achieve them. Let me show you the story about the day when I flew a helicopter above Sweden’s capital, Stockholm. It was a beautiful sunset from above when I took my Hasselblad X1D II up in the air. As I flew above the city I was accompanied by two hot air balloons through the evening.

It is a peculiar feeling, capturing the miniature multi-colored buildings and winding waterways of Stockholm where I usually spend much time with my feet on the ground. While flying hundreds of meters above Stockholm, I was feeling the images as I took them. Seeing the vibrant city from my favorite perspective, architecture, roads, and water, merge into a beautiful urban landscape was hypnotizing. Almost too beautiful to comprehend right there and now.
